A kiss?? No Mom!!

Camden celebrated Valentine's day at school today and he was so excited when I woke him up this morning to go to school. A couple night ago we made over 50 valentine's for preschool and daycare. He was having a hard time waiting to give them to everyone today and he kept saying he was going to give one to his girlfriend too. We were in Walmart this past weekend and we were buying candy for the Valentine's and he came across a big heart that was full of candy and he wanted to give that to his girlfriend, well we never did end up buying it! When I picked him up from school today I asked him how his party was and he had to show me all the valentine's and then I asked him if he gave his girlfriend a kiss and he said "Mom I can't kiss her because I will get in trouble!" HAHA I guess at least he knows better. He got enough candy today to last for awhile. He has a daycare valentine party on Friday so he will have his fair share of candy from there too! I don't think I need to get him any candy for Valentine's day considering he will have plenty!

King's Pointe Waterpark

Saturday was such a nice day that we thought we would head down to King's Pointe indoor waterpark. This was our first time at this waterpark and Camden had fun. It has been awhile since he has been swimming so at first he didn't want to go to far out into the water. That changed after awhile, I ended up putting a life jacket on him because he kept wanting to go out deeper. He loved swimming and is already asking to go again! He is going to take swimming lessons this summer to learn some more of the basics of swimming.

Hockey Game

We headed to Sioux Friday afternoon and did some shopping, enjoyed supper at the Golden Corral, and went to the Sioux City Musketeers hockey game. Even though the Musketeers couldn't pull off the win it was tons of fun and Camden loved it! He did very well through the game but did get a little tired toward the end. I don't blame him though because he is normally sleeping in bed by 8:00! Camden thought the coolest part was when the hockey players were right in front of us fighting for the puck. He asked "why do they fight like that?" We were in the front row so he was able to see all that! He loved it when they scored and the music came on and the lights went off! Overall it was a goodtime and I am sure we will do it more often now.

4 day weekend...woohoo!!

Can ya tell I am ready to have a long weekend? Well I am!! I took Friday off so I could get some stuff done in the next few days. Tomorrow I am going to try and get caught up on Oz and Brett's sports scrapbooks because I am really behind! The sad things is I have not even started Camden's scrapbook. I have everything for it but just haven't started it. I have all the pics of him tagged so I know what they are from and every paper I mark with the date, etc so I know what it is. I will get it done someday:) Friday I am going to get some stuff done around the house in the morning and then Friday afternoon we are heading to Sioux City to shop, go out to eat, and head to the Sioux City Musketeers hockey game. We are taking Camden with us and he is really excited to go to the hockey game since this will be his first one he has been too. I guess it will be my first one also. I do not know alot about hockey so maybe I will learn a thing or two. Brad wants Camden to get involved in hockey in Sioux Center at there Wellness Center. I think he will obviously need to learn to skate first so maybe this next winter or next he will get skating lessons. After he learns to skate and if he likes it then he can join the wellness hockey league once he is 5 or 6. He loves to play sports so I am sure he will like hockey!
Sounds like the weekend weather forcast is supose to be nice with temps in the 40's....it might feel like a heat wave and I am sure Spring fever will set in!

Camden's joke of the day:)

This morning I was making breakfast and Camden came up to me and said he had a joke to tell me. I said ok tell me the joke and it went like this
Camden-What is a snail called on a ship?
Me-I have no idea.
Camden-Mom it's called a snailor....and he is just dying laughing!
I have no idea where he got that but I am guessing from daycare or off a cartoon! It was kind of funny though especially when he was laughing so hard about it:)

Our weekend has kind of been a busy one. Yesterday Brad took Camden ice fishing with one of his friends and his little boy. Camden had fun but got a little impatient after awhile. They did end up catching some fish. Once they got home we were headed to Everly to watch NSK play BB. The girls have been having a very good season. I believe they are ranked 9th and are undefeated,16-0. It was close throughout the whole game. CCE was up 57-56 with 5 seconds left and one of our girls rebounded the ball after a missed free throw by CCE and whipped it down court to another girl and she shot it with one second left, game over NSK 58 CCE 57! Wow I was so fricking nervous! It was a great birthday present for Paul to win the game last night and stay undefeated!
Tonight is obviously Super Bowl! I am actually not that excited this year for it. There are alot of super bowl parties going on tonight but we are going to one of Brad's coworkers for the game. I am going for the Cardinals as I HATE the Steelers. Yep I will probably still wear some Packers attire today:)
